Description
A creamy, restaurant-quality queso dip with chips that’s ready in just 10 minutes with only four simple ingredients.
Ingredients
- 1 pound American cheese or Velveeta, cut into chunks
- ½ cup whole milk
- 1 (4-ounce) can diced green chiles, drained
- 1 teaspoon taco seasoning
- Smoked paprika for garnish (optional)
- Tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- Add cheese chunks and milk to a medium saucepan over medium-low heat.
- Stir frequently until cheese is completely melted and smooth, about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and stir in green chiles and taco seasoning until combined.
- Transfer to serving bowl and sprinkle with paprika if desired.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips.
Notes
- Keep heat at medium-low to prevent cheese from becoming grainy
- Add extra milk one tablespoon at a time if dip becomes too thick
- Can be kept warm in a slow cooker for parties
- Store leftovers in refrigerator for up to 3 days
