Ingredients
- 1¼ cups rolled oats (old-fashioned)
- 2 tablespoons ground flaxseed
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground allspice
- ⅛ teaspoon fine sea salt
- ½ cup natural almond butter
- 3 tablespoons pure honey
- ½ teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ¾ cup freeze-dried apple pieces, chopped
Instructions
- Whisk together oats, flaxseed, chia seeds, cinnamon, allspice, and salt in a large bowl.
- Add almond butter, honey, and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
- Fold in chopped apple pieces until evenly distributed.
- Check consistency—mixture should hold together when squeezed.
- Roll into 14 balls using a cookie scoop or your hands.
- Refrigerate in an airtight container for 45 minutes before serving.
Notes
Store in refrigerator for up to 10 days or freeze for up to 2 months. Substitute regular dried apples (finely chopped) if freeze-dried aren’t available.
