Description

Buttery, flaky crescent rolls filled with savory breakfast sausage and creamy cheese – the perfect comfort food appetizer or breakfast treat.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb breakfast sausage
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 2 tubes (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent rolls

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375°F
  • Cook and drain sausage completely
  • Mix sausage with softened cream cheese
  • Cut crescent triangles in half lengthwise
  • Add 1 tablespoon filling to each triangle and roll up
  • Place seam-side down on baking sheet
  • Bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown

Notes

  • Room temperature cream cheese mixes easier
  • Drain sausage well to prevent soggy rolls
