Description
Creamy, spicy jalapeño poppers wrapped in buttery crescent dough for the perfect bite-sized appetizer.
Ingredients
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 12–15 fresh jalapeños, halved and seeded
- 1 tube refrigerated crescent roll dough (8 count)
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove seeds and membranes.
- Mix cream cheese, cheddar cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.
- Fill each jalapeño half generously with cheese mixture.
- Separate crescent dough into triangles. Place one stuffed jalapeño half at wide end of each triangle and roll up, sealing seams.
- Place seam-side down on prepared baking sheet.
- Bake 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
For milder heat, substitute mini sweet peppers for jalapeños. Can be assembled ahead and refrigerated overnight – just add 2-3 extra minutes to baking time.
