Homemade Grape Jam – A classic preserve that captures the essence of fresh grapes in every spoonful.
Ingredients
- 3 pounds fresh seedless grapes
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 3 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine grapes, sugar, and lemon juice in a large, heavy-bottomed pot
- Cook over medium-low heat, stirring gently and mashing some grapes as mixture warms
- Once sugar dissolves completely, increase heat to medium-high and bring to a rolling boil
- Boil for 20-25 minutes, stirring constantly, until jam reaches gel stage
- Test for doneness using the cold plate method
- Ladle into sterilized jars and seal immediately

- Use a mix of grape varieties for complex flavor
- Keep heat at medium during boiling to prevent burning
- Test for gel stage before removing from heat
