Fresh Peach Salsa a vibrant mix of sweet peaches, crisp peppers, and fresh herbs that brings summer to every bite.
Ingredients
- 2 large ripe peaches, diced
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- ½ medium red onion, finely chopped
- 1 fresh lime (zested and juiced)
- 1 serrano pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 large bunch fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon sea salt
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Wash and prepare all produce. Dice peaches into bite-sized pieces.
- Dice red bell pepper. Remove seeds from serrano pepper and mince finely.
- Finely chop red onion and cilantro.
- Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl.
- Add lime zest, lime juice, salt, and cumin. Mix gently.
- Taste and adjust seasonings. Add honey if needed.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes before serving.
Notes
- Choose firm but ripe peaches for best texture
- Start with half the serrano pepper if sensitive to heat
- Salsa keeps 3-4 days refrigerated
- Drain excess liquid before serving if needed
