Description
A creamy, restaurant-quality pasta dish that brings Caesar salad flavors to your dinner table
Ingredients
- 1½ lbs chicken breasts, cubed
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 1½ cups heavy cream
- ¾ cup Parmesan cheese
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 2 tsp Worcestershire
- 1 tsp anchovy paste
- 2 cups chopped romaine
- Salt, pepper, olive oil
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions; reserve ½ cup pasta water
- Season and cook chicken in olive oil until golden; set aside
- Make sauce: melt butter, add garlic, then cream and seasonings
- Whisk in Parmesan off heat until smooth
- Combine chicken, pasta, and sauce; add romaine
- Serve with extra cheese and croutons
Notes
Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results. Add romaine just before serving to maintain crunch.
