Creamy Chicken Caesar Pasta

Description

A creamy, restaurant-quality pasta dish that brings Caesar salad flavors to your dinner table


Ingredients

  • lbs chicken breasts, cubed
  • 12 oz penne pasta
  • 1½ cups heavy cream
  • ¾ cup Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire
  • 1 tsp anchovy paste
  • 2 cups chopped romaine
  • Salt, pepper, olive oil

Instructions

  • Cook pasta according to package directions; reserve ½ cup pasta water
  • Season and cook chicken in olive oil until golden; set aside
  • Make sauce: melt butter, add garlic, then cream and seasonings
  • Whisk in Parmesan off heat until smooth
  • Combine chicken, pasta, and sauce; add romaine
  • Serve with extra cheese and croutons

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for best results. Add romaine just before serving to maintain crunch.
